Boiler Room – Vin Diesel, Ben Affleck quote Wall Street Scene

This is the scene in Boiler Room where Vin Diesel, Ben Affleck, Nicky Katt and Scott Caan watch and quote the movie Wall Street with Michael Douglas and Charlie Sheen. A great nod to one of the original movies about runaway corporate greed.

Oddly enough, Boiler Room was the movie that led me to watching Glengarry Glenross and Wall Street

yea possibly though if you listen where seth walks into the living room he asks if “he just moved in” and is told he has been there for 6 months… i like to think that he is ready to “run” if the fbi gets too close

This movie is scene-4-scene identical 2 my experiences coming up the ranks, even the firm getting busted….Hits much closer 2 home 4 me than GGR or Wall Street. All great movies though.

One of the best scenes ever, The Wallstreet one that is. Still today I have 95% of that opening memorized. The scene second to that is the locker room scene, “Give me guys who are poor smart and hungry, with no feelings, you win a few, you lose a few but you got to keep on fighting. And oh ya if you want a friend, Get A DOG!

Jesus Christ, I remember this film, I loved it, and “Wall Street”, however I hated how every dick head I worked with in the mortgage industry tried to emulate the characters from this film.

When they gave me their hardest impression of

“”Get da fuck outta my office, you low level pip sqeak!!!”"”

And I (doing my hardest Tony Montana impression) would say

“Hey! Hey! Hey!, listen you mother fucker, I’ll cut your fuckin head off!!!”

Hmm maybe that was more “Texas Chainsaw massacre”?
